Flames Soccer Team says "Hello" to Florida

The CSM soccer team beat National College 3-2 in overtime to get a bid to the National Tournament in Miami, Florida. The tournament starts on the 12th of November and will last until the 21st of November. Star player Kristie Korth has high hopes for the Flames. "I think we will have a really good chance to get to the semi-finals, if not the finals. We have been playing top notch soccer these past couple of months and we believe that we are ready for the next level." We wish the soccer team the best of luck as they make their way to the top of the charts.

Volleyball Team Ends Season 3rd in the Nation

The Flames volleyball team got beat out of the semi-finals by Hastings College 15-12, 13-15, 15-9, 12-15, and 14-17. It was indeed a nail biter! Through it all the girls still had the time of their lives, says senior All-American Jessica Jesserites. "It was a hard fought tournament, we played the best we could and that is all any of us could have asked for." Jesserites was named the most valuable player in the NCAA division. We congratulate all the members and coaches of the volleyball team with a job well done!

CSM Basketball Starts the Season Off…. With a Bang

Congratulations to the CSM basketball team who whooped up on their first two opponents of the season. They beat the College of the Ozarks 92-35 in their first home game of the season on Friday night. Kim Rickert, the key player on the team, said that starting off like this was essential to how the rest of the season will go. "This game was huge! We just went out there gave it our all, and played a great game! By winning this game by such a big margin is a great confidence booster for our team. Hopefully you can expect bigger and better things from us as the season progresses." They won the second game 78-63 against Bellevue University on Sunday afternoon. Great job girls, and best of luck on the rest of your season!
